- As a single woman, not well-versed in construction, I had no doubts or concerns about working with this contractor. I contracted Paul and his team to build a sizable new deck in my backyard (IPE/Brazilian hardwood, which was difficult to work with) and replace a couple of windows in my house. During deck demolition we discovered some dry rot and less than acceptable wiring in my outer office building, adjacent to the deck. Paul and his team were quick to deliver repair solutions, with minimal cost. The results were outstanding -- my deck is beautiful and I didn't even need to repaint my inside walls due to the new windows! - Removed interior master bathroom dressing area walls and fixtures. Installed new walk in closet, new bathtub & dressing area. Rearranged heating vents and removed and reinstalled skylight. Moved the original bathroom dressing room wall 18" into bedroom. Removed laundry room to the studs. Removed toilet & shower stall. Removed a doorway and walled it up. Raised the floor to be level with the family room about 4 ". Reinstalled & re-sited the toilet and replaced the shower stall with a sink. Floor to ceiling cabinets and storage installed. In the family Room, they installed R30 ceiling insulation between false beams and replaced single glazed leaking skylight with a triple glazed skylight. They sheet-rocked and finished ceiling to enclose insulation batts. In the Kitchen they removed an overhead boxed in light fixture and installed can lights over the work area ~ all on dimmers. - This is to thank you and your crew for the wonderful job you did remodeling my home. I would also like to express my appreciation for the follow-up work that was recently done for me. After giving serious thought to buying a new home, my husband and I decided that we could not give up our 1927 midtown bungalow. Our house, however, was no longer roomy enough to meet our needs. We decided to add nearly 400 square feet of space to our home, to include a master suite with two large closets, a full bath, a service porch, and a wrap-around deck. In the front of the house, the porch was reinforced and a beautiful new brick walkway was added. This project was done in an incredibly professional manner.
